Creston’s Kelly Vandenberghe is running as the BC Conservative candidate for the Kootenay-Central riding in the October 19 provincial election.
Vandenberghe currently serves on the Regional District of Central Kootenay Board of Directors as the Director for Electoral Area C. He has also served as an elected official in Alberta and built a successful career leading a heavy equipment auction company.
A statement from the BC Conservatives says Vandenberghe’s experience in local government and business equips him to represent the Kootenay-Central riding with a focus on accountability and transparency.
He will be running against NDP candidate Brittny Anderson, Green Party candidate Nicole Charlwood, and independent candidate Corine Mori.
